Overview
- Lead and oversee integrated therapeutic services within a residential treatment facility for adolescents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while embedding trauma-informed care practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance therapeutic and educational outcomes.
- Supervise clinical and milieu leadership, driving performance and accountability.
- Develop and implement training standards for residential staff.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners for continuity of care.
- Promote a mission-driven environment focused on safety and teamwork.
- Ensure adherence to accreditation and quality improvement standards.
- Work on-site to directly oversee therapeutic operations and staff coordination.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and oversee mental health treatment and therapeutic milieu operations.
- Facilitate comprehensive treatment planning and administrative meetings.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to leadership staff.
- Monitor compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical teams to integrate care.
- Develop and implement training plans for therapeutic staff.
- Ensure quality assurance and chart compliance within the program.
- Oversee staff hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Prepare programs for audits and ensure readiness for inspections.
Job Requirements
- Master of Social Work degree required; LCSW or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with emotionally disturbed adolescents.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic crisis intervention techniques.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and compliance standards.
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed care and youth-driven routines.
- On-site availability for direct supervision and operational oversight.
