Overview

- Coordinate daily huddles and manage clinical supplies inventory effectively.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Document patient progress notes in the electronic health record within required timelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate and mentor care team staff, providing feedback and support for professional development.
- Participate in applicant screening, selection, and training processes for care team staff.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, delegating tasks and ensuring completion.
- Manage care team scheduling and Paid Time Off requests effectively.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Conduct point-of-care tests and administer medications as directed by providers.
- Review patient charts for missing information and coordinate care team huddles.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient confidentiality policies.
- Provide feedback for performance evaluations and assist in employee discipline processes.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure a safe work environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New York required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in hospital or ambulatory settings required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, regulations, and practices essential.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and ensure safety protocols.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and medical chart reporting.
- Strong communication skills for patient care and team collaboration.
