Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting operations for multiple brands under a high-growth organization.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial records and compliance with US GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams for management reporting and operational insights.
  • Supervise and mentor staff accountants, fostering professional growth.
  • Manage monthly close processes and reconciliations across multiple ERPs.
  • Provide support for audits, tax filings, and ad-hoc financial projects.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Participate in occasional travel to support multi-location operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the general ledger and ensure robust internal controls.
  • Coordinate monthly financial close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management decision-making.
  • Supervise staff accountants, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Support external audits and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Manage tax reporting processes, including sales, use, and property taxes.
  • Deliver timely reporting and analytics for operational initiatives.
  • Engage in special projects and provide financial expertise as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA designation or progress towards CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-location or industrial distribution.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems and multi-brand financial operations.
