Overview

  • Manage accounting and financial operations for high-net-worth families, ensuring accuracy and compliance across personal, investment, and estate entities.
  • Coordinate tax planning and compliance with CPAs and advisors, maintaining documentation and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Support investment activities, including performance tracking, fund accounting, and reporting for diverse portfolios.
  • Administer estate and trust accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate beneficiary distributions.
  • Develop strategic financial plans, analyzing spending and supporting philanthropic initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion while interacting with family members and advisors.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform general ledger accounting for multiple entities, including personal and investment accounts.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and manage cash flow through budgeting and forecasting.
  • Coordinate tax compliance and planning, tracking cost basis for investments and managing payments.
  • Track investment performance, record transactions, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Administer estate and trust accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
  • Support strategic planning by preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Interact directly with family members, providing tailored financial reporting and insights.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management; 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and cash flow management.
  • Experience with tax compliance, investment accounting, and estate administration.
  • Strong analytical skills for strategic planning and financial insights.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive financial matters.
