Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic and operational management of critical applications supporting construction operations within a dynamic and innovative technology environment.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of applications essential to driving business operations and maximizing technology investments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align application strategies with organizational goals and ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Manage a team of Application Managers and Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement application roadmaps aligned with strategic business objectives and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards, including application security testing and adherence to frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application support and service delivery.
  • Oversee vendor relationships to ensure optimal support and service delivery for applications.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement application roadmaps aligned with strategic business objectives and operational needs.
  • Lead a proactive application support organization, ensuring performance, functionality, and user experience optimization.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Application Managers and Analysts, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Oversee application lifecycle management, including feature implementation, testing, and communication.
  • Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure optimal support and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards, including application security testing and adherence to frameworks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, informing application roadmap initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure application availability and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations, focusing on application management.
  • Proven experience leading and managing application support teams in dynamic environments.
  • Expertise in construction industry-specific applications such as Procore, Kahua, Autodesk, and Primavera P6.
  • Knowledge of construction project lifecycle phases, including pre-construction, construction, and closeout.
  • Experience developing and implementing application roadmaps and business continuity plans.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to build relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity policies, application security testing, and compliance with industry frameworks.
