Overview
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of high voltage power supplies in a production environment.
- Contribute to the performance and quality of high voltage power product lines.
- Work on products used in industrial and medical applications, including detection, screening, and material curing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address product issues and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with testing procedures and maintain detailed documentation of test results.
- Operate and maintain specialized test equipment for high voltage power supplies.
- Support production throughput requirements and adhere to quality standards.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and gowning requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Select and set up test equipment for production testing as per work instructions.
- Perform compliance testing and burn-in conditioning of high voltage power supplies.
- Troubleshoot product and equipment issues under guidance from senior technicians or engineers.
- Evaluate customer returns and assist in generating failure analysis reports.
- Prepare test data to support engineering evaluations and product development.
- Ensure adherence to throughput requirements and maintain test station organization.
- Communicate findings and quality concerns to engineering teams effectively.
- Transport parts and assemblies across various production areas as required.
Job Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Science or specialized training in Electronics.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical testing experience or equivalent training.
- Proficiency in operating oscilloscopes and product-specific testing equipment.
- Comfortable working with high voltage levels ranging from 1KV to 180KV.
- Strong organizational skills and experience with Windows/MS Office applications.
- Ability to lift and handle high voltage power supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and work overtime when necessary.
