Job Description

Overview

  • Provide medical review and clinical support for compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Support the Medical Director in implementing standard operational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct medical reviews of clinical assessments and reassessments for finalization.
  • Complete wellness plan dispositions for program clients.
  • Assist clients in accessing services to reduce barriers to compliance.
  • Provide clinical support to staff to fulfill contracted goals.
  • Utilize knowledge of medical and behavioral health diagnoses in practice.
  • Work on-site to ensure operational efficiency and client support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct medical reviews of clinical assessments and reassessments.
  • Support the development and implementation of wellness plans.
  • Assist clients in accessing services to improve compliance.
  • Provide clinical support to staff for achieving program goals.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Utilize software systems for documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of SSA disability application processes.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and unrestricted NYS license.
  • Board Certification by ABMS or AOA.
  • Two years of professional experience in medical or clinical practice.
  • Knowledge of medical and behavioral health diagnoses.
  • Experience with NYC HRA and SSA disability application processes preferred.
  • Proficiency in software systems like SEAMS, EPIC, PSYCKES, and Bronx RHIO.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to motivate and assist clients in compliance processes.
