Job Description

Overview

  • Provide inpatient physical therapy services to patients, focusing on restoring function and preventing disability.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and equipment to maximize patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home care strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and therapy students.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and patient care strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
