Overview
- Lead architectural project execution, ensuring technical precision and adherence to quality standards throughout design and construction phases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and consultants to deliver innovative and functional architectural solutions.
- Manage construction administration tasks, including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, and city submittals.
- Contribute to the production of detailed construction documents and record drawings with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Participate in project meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication among stakeholders.
- Support estimating and construction teams by addressing project details and coordinating documentation.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
- Maintain regular interaction with team members and clients to ensure seamless project workflows.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate technical aspects of architectural projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with external consultants to monitor progress and align project objectives.
- Perform construction administration tasks, including site visits, submittals, and record set drawings production.
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders to foster collaboration and project alignment.
- Assist estimating and construction teams with bidding concerns and document coordination.
- Contribute to team efforts in meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure successful project outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) required, with a strong understanding of architectural principles.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural project management; 6 years preferred.
- Proficiency in construction administration tasks, including shop drawing reviews and RFI responses.
- Excellent collaboration skills for effective teamwork with consultants and clients.
- Ability to manage workflows and contribute to team efforts efficiently.
- Experience in producing detailed construction documents and record set drawings.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and commitment to enforcing them.
- On-site work arrangement required, with regular collaboration and interaction.
