Overview
- Provide temporary front desk coverage for a one-day assignment during the client's holiday event.
- Handle basic receptionist duties including answering phones, accepting packages, and managing mail without opening it.
- Receive training for the role on the same day of the assignment.
- Work hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Lunch break can be taken between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
- Engage in a professional and welcoming manner with visitors and callers.
- Support the client's operational needs during the holiday party.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately.
- Receive and sign for packages delivered to the front desk.
- Manage incoming mail by sorting and organizing without opening.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide a friendly and professional presence for visitors and callers.
- Follow training guidelines provided during the initial hours of the assignment.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth front desk operations.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background.
