Overview

  • Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, functional, and visually compelling interior environments.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic team to deliver innovative solutions for diverse commercial and hospitality projects.
  • Utilize advanced design software to create detailed drawings, specifications, and presentation materials.
  • Mentor junior designers, fostering professional growth and maintaining design excellence.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into impactful design solutions.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead programming, space planning, and design development phases for multiple interior design projects.
  • Develop and present design concepts, material palettes, and FF&E selections to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate execution of design intent.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations effectively.
  • Produce high-quality construction documentation and presentation materials adhering to industry standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, promoting skill development and design innovation.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction administration activities as required.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives to enhance design quality and technological advancement.

Job Requirements

  • NCIDQ Certification is mandatory for this position.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 6–10+ years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in commercial or hospitality sectors.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software.
  • Strong design sensibility and experience in developing comprehensive interior design packages.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
