Overview
- Provide psychological services within a hybrid work arrangement, including assessments, consultations, and therapy sessions for diverse client groups.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to developmental stages and individual needs.
- Support clinical supervision for staff pursuing advanced certifications, fostering professional growth and development.
- Conduct psychological testing and evaluations to identify cognitive, learning, and developmental issues, recommending appropriate services and resources.
- Engage in group therapy sessions, promoting effective strategies for clients with neurodivergent needs.
- Provide consultations and training to staff on treatment modifications for clients with neurodevelopmental challenges.
- Enhance collaborative efforts with internal and external partners to optimize client outcomes.
- Offer guidance to families and caregivers, ensuring successful reintegration into the community for youth clients.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer and interpret psychological, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental assessments, providing detailed evaluations and actionable recommendations.
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions, documenting treatments in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing diverse client needs.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff pursuing advanced certifications, enhancing organizational expertise.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on strategies for neurodivergent clients.
- Deliver consultations and training to staff on developmental and treatment modifications for neurodivergent clients.
- Strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve client outcomes.
- Advise families and caregivers on youth-specific strategies for successful community reintegration.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with relevant certifications in psychology.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in evaluating and treating adolescents and young adults with emotional disabilities.
- Experience working with clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental assessments.
- Specialized training in neuropsychology is preferred.
- Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions is advantageous.
- Strong independent work ethic and competence in clinical settings.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision and training to staff.
