Job Description

Overview

  • Manage, implement, and troubleshoot security products ensuring the firm's cybersecurity resilience.
  • Provide technical support and conduct daily investigations of security incidents.
  • Perform security assessments, audits, and proactive threat hunting activities.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and consultants for security services.
  • Research and test new security technologies to enhance the firm's defenses.
  • Participate in project reviews for information security architectures.
  • Maintain compliance with client security requirements and industry standards.
  • Work remotely with occasional onsite requirements for specific tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage firewalls, antivirus, web filtering, DLP, IPS/IDS, and endpoint detection solutions.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and risk assessments.
  • Create comprehensive security reports and track metrics.
  • Investigate security events and manage incident response activities.
  • Perform malware analysis and research exploit techniques.
  • Configure and audit firewall, network, and system settings.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Incident Response team during security incidents.
  • Develop and maintain security processes to meet organizational needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7+ years of IT security experience, including incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies like Palo Alto firewalls, CyberArk, and SIEM products.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and VB.
  • Certifications like GIAC GSEC, PCNSE, and OSCP are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability for emergency calls and occasional travel as needed.
