Overview

  • Lead valuation processes for private and complex securities across funds and accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure robust valuation methodologies.
  • Prepare and present valuation reports to committees and boards.
  • Analyze market data to determine inputs for valuation models.
  • Document valuation procedures and assumptions for reporting and audits.
  • Perform independent valuations on diverse securities, including structured products and private equity.
  • Support traditional investment valuation processes and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Work in a hybrid model balancing office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and enhance valuation processes for private instruments.
  • Perform hands-on valuation calculations on private credit investments.
  • Analyze market data to determine valuation model inputs.
  • Document valuation procedures and conclusions for audits.
  • Interact with external valuation experts and auditors for accurate pricing.
  • Prepare materials for presentation to valuation committees and boards.
  • Support traditional investment valuation processes.
  • Collaborate with teams across operations, compliance, and portfolio management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in private security valuations.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience valuing private credit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and market data sources.
  • Expertise in private credit instruments and structured debt.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting standards and valuation methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
