Overview

  • Lead operations in a state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Operating Room at a premier healthcare organization.
  • Oversee a dedicated team of professionals in delivering exceptional cardiac surgical services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage operations of a specialized CVOR unit, ensuring efficiency and excellence in patient care.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with organizational strategies and patient needs.
  • Oversee financial management, optimizing resource utilization and budget adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards to uphold quality and safety.
  • Mentor and support staff development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Integrate clinical, financial, and operational data for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Promote collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams for cohesive care delivery.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance surgical care quality and operational effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Active RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
  • National Nursing Leadership Certification required within one year of hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and surgical care operations.
  • Strong expertise in open-heart surgical services and cardiovascular care management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including word processing and data analysis tools.
