Superintendent / Project Manager

Overview

• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations effectively.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize project efficiency and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout project execution.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and present updates to stakeholders and management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Monitor project progress, addressing delays or challenges promptly and effectively.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve technical challenges and ensure quality.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and management.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in construction management are advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or supervision.
• Proficiency in project management tools and construction software applications.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and projects effectively.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and teams.
