Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Estimator in a dynamic construction environment, contributing to complex project delivery.
  • Provide cost estimates throughout project development phases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Engage in design processes, offering cost input and managing cost implications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and suppliers.
  • Contribute to purchasing activities and design review processes.
  • Work in a high-performance culture, adapting to challenging and fast-paced environments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures across all work locations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed budgets from conceptual designs, monitoring costs and savings during design phases.
  • Actively participate in design and review processes, providing cost implications and feedback.
  • Develop cost estimates using historical data and project partner input.
  • Review construction documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Communicate cost implications effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Manage work priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Influence subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project goals.
  • Adhere to organizational standards of excellence and ethical practices.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with self-perform experience.
  • Proficiency in preparing cost estimates using conceptual documents and historical data.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage work priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in active construction sites and office settings.
  • Alignment with organizational standards of excellence and adaptability.
