Overview

  • Support legal operations within a leading global asset management firm, focusing on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure adherence to securities laws and distribution regulations.
  • Assist in the development and management of investment fund structures and related documentation.
  • Contribute to intellectual property management and global trademark administration processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, review, and manage distribution agreements and investment fund documentation.
  • Maintain regulatory filing databases and oversee document management systems.
  • Coordinate responses to due diligence requests and manage subscription agreements.
  • Conduct legal research on securities distribution rules and summarize findings.
  • Support corporate governance activities, including organizational document maintenance.
  • Provide administrative support for intellectual property rights and trademark management.
  • Collaborate with technology and service platform partners to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory filings and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; paralegal certification preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a law firm, asset manager, or broker-dealer environment.
  • Knowledge of U.S. securities laws and investment product distribution regulations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with document management systems.
  • Experience with FINRA portal and EDGAR systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
