Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform security log and event analysis using EDR, SIEM, and log aggregation systems.
- Monitor and execute vulnerability management programs to reduce IT hygiene risks.
- Manage security toolsets such as application control systems, EDR/AV, and email security platforms.
- Support security incident response and investigation efforts as directed.
- Validate IT operational activities for compliance with policies and standards.
- Research security vulnerabilities and trends for proactive action and reporting.
- Contribute to third-party risk management and IT compliance efforts.
- Assist in planning security systems and standards for enterprise infrastructure.
- Participate in the enterprise Change Advisory Board (CAB) for application reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent experience in Information Security or IT-related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security; 7 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows, Unix/Linux, Active Directory, and core networking protocols.
- Experience in security engineering, system and network security, and cloud security.
- Skilled in leveraging artificial intelligence tools for security operations.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Flexibility to travel as needed and work additional hours when required.
