Job Description
Overview
- Serve as a key liaison for potential enrollees, facilitating enrollment processes and providing essential information.
- Assist with Medicaid applications, recertifications, and plan transfers to ensure seamless enrollment.
- Maintain a caseload of referrals, converting them into monthly enrollments efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to meet enrollment targets and deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to referral sources and potential members.
- Ensure compliance with NYS MLTC enrollment and marketing guidelines.
- Utilize office equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, and Electronic Health Records systems effectively.
- Demonstrate autonomy, assertiveness, and flexibility in performing job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Field inquiries from potential enrollees and referral sources, addressing concerns and providing necessary information.
- Facilitate enrollment processes, including Medicaid eligibility and benefit coordination.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of plan benefits and eligibility requirements.
- Respond promptly to member requests and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely enrollment and resolution of issues.
- Provide education and support to referral sources and enrollees about plan benefits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare or sales is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records systems.
- Knowledge of NYS MLTC enrollment and marketing guidelines is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Fluency in Chinese is required for effective communication.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
