Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a key liaison for potential enrollees, facilitating enrollment processes and providing essential information.
  • Assist with Medicaid applications, recertifications, and plan transfers to ensure seamless enrollment.
  • Maintain a caseload of referrals, converting them into monthly enrollments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to meet enrollment targets and deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to referral sources and potential members.
  • Ensure compliance with NYS MLTC enrollment and marketing guidelines.
  • Utilize office equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, and Electronic Health Records systems effectively.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, assertiveness, and flexibility in performing job responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Field inquiries from potential enrollees and referral sources, addressing concerns and providing necessary information.
  • Facilitate enrollment processes, including Medicaid eligibility and benefit coordination.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of plan benefits and eligibility requirements.
  • Respond promptly to member requests and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely enrollment and resolution of issues.
  • Provide education and support to referral sources and enrollees about plan benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare or sales is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records systems.
  • Knowledge of NYS MLTC enrollment and marketing guidelines is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Fluency in Chinese is required for effective communication.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
