Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational, financial, and strategic performance for a multi-site outpatient network undergoing stabilization and turnaround.
  • Drive improvements in provider productivity, scheduling, revenue cycle, and clinic workflows across 40+ primary and specialty clinics.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to integrate ambulatory services with inpatient service lines for optimal healthcare delivery.
  • Enhance patient experience and quality performance through strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Oversee budget management, staffing models, and access optimization for sustainable outpatient operations.
  • Contribute to the growth and stabilization of the healthcare system's ambulatory platform.
  • Work on-site to foster strong physician relationships and ensure effective multi-site management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve outpatient network operations and financial performance.
  • Optimize scheduling, access, and throughput to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Streamline revenue cycle processes, charge capture, and front-end operations for financial sustainability.
  • Restructure workflows and staffing models to align with organizational goals and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve provider productivity and compensation models to ensure alignment with system objectives.
  • Enhance patient experience and quality metrics through targeted initiatives and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to integrate outpatient services with inpatient care for seamless operations.
  • Manage budgets and financial planning for outpatient clinics to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of executive-level experience in outpatient operations or medical group management.
  • Proven track record in transforming outpatient operations within complex healthcare systems.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, provider productivity, and clinic workflows.
  • Experience with multi-site management and integration of ambulatory services with hospital operations.
  • Ability to lead stabilization and turnaround efforts in healthcare settings.
