Overview

  • Contribute to the valuation and management of private equity investments within a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead analysis for a subset of funds and co-investments across diverse asset classes.
  • Conduct thorough underwriting and due diligence for investment recommendations.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and engage with stakeholders for regular reviews.
  • Evaluate transaction documents to identify risks and assess deal structures.
  • Develop detailed scenario analyses for co-investments during underwriting and surveillance.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with advisors, general partners, and market analysts.
  • Provide updates to senior management on portfolio developments and market trends.
  • Collaborate with accounting, legal, and reporting teams to optimize operational processes.
  • Mentor investment associates to enhance team capabilities and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit or equity research; 15 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, including cash flow analysis and valuation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Technical expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems is essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include MBA, CFA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Knowledge of private equity, venture capital, and alternative investment strategies.
  • Experience in corporate credit or equity research is advantageous.
