Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.
  • Assist patients with positioning and safety during imaging exams, providing clear instructions and support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely delivery of diagnostic services.
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients, addressing concerns and fostering a positive experience.
  • Implement radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff.
  • Conduct equipment quality control checks and report any operational issues promptly.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, including administering CPR/BLS as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
  • Active ARRT (MR) and ARRT (CT) certifications mandatory for this position.
  • CPR/BLS certification required prior to commencement of employment.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in magnetic resonance imaging or computed tomography.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing patient interactions and workflow.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ARRT guidelines.
