Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic accounting team managing day-to-day financial transactions for a leading investment management company.
  • Collaborate with professionals in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

  • Contribute to the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for global subsidiaries.
  • Support fund expense allocation processes and billing activities for investment funds.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily accounting entries based on bank activity and reconcile monthly bank statements.
  • Assist in monthly closings and prepare reporting packages for management review.
  • Review bookkeeping of foreign subsidiaries and consolidate with the US Parent entity.
  • Analyze expense reports and prepare monthly summaries of employee expenditures.
  • Support fund expense allocation and billing processes on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure accurate allocation and payment of invoices while maintaining compliance.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial operations and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business from an accredited institution.
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in public accounting or related fields; private equity experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Workday is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proactive and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm for learning.
