Job Description

Overview

  • Lead architectural projects within the healthcare studio, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate project proposals, contracts, and agreements with subcontracted consultants.
  • Develop project schedules, manpower requirements, and budgets aligned with contract specifications.
  • Conduct client programming interviews and manage the design process from inception to completion.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate workplace codes and regulations throughout project execution.
  • Direct project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain progress and quality.
  • Monitor project accounting and provide regular updates to healthcare principals.
  • Offer mentorship and skill development opportunities to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural or interior design, with healthcare project expertise preferred.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and REVIT; rendering skills are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture and interior design planning, technical detailing, and construction practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
