Job Description

Overview

  • Manage fund accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external fund administrators to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, performance reports, and regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure timely submission of audited financial statements.
  • Develop and implement workflows, controls, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives and special projects to support firm objectives.
  • Provide insights and reporting to senior management on fund performance and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate records of fund activities and investor allocations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee NAV finalization, P&L reconciliation, and investor allocations for private fund structures.
  • Review and reconcile management and incentive fee calculations per fund documents.
  • Approve capital account statements and coordinate capital calls and distributions.
  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and reporting cycles.
  • Review expense allocations, budgets, and vendor payments for operational efficiency.
  • Analyze fund legal documents and implement streamlined processes and templates.
  • Support strategic initiatives and contribute to the development of firm-wide processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant fund accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Credit, Enfusion, and Sage Intacct is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
