Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage valuation processes for structured and private credit assets, ensuring compliance with established methodologies.
  • Collaborate with investment professionals to review models and market assumptions for strategic alignment.
  • Develop tools for portfolio analytics and automate performance reporting dashboards.
  • Conduct stress testing and exposure monitoring to enhance risk management practices.
  • Coordinate with accounting teams to reconcile NAVs and performance metrics accurately.
  • Prepare materials for Valuation Committee meetings, documenting key judgments and methodologies.
  • Support the development and documentation of valuation policies and internal controls.
  • Participate in firmwide risk processes and ESG enhancements to support organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA designation preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in asset management, private credit, or valuation advisory.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and process automation.
  • Experience with valuation systems such as iHS Markit, Advent Geneva, or IVP.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to handle complex data sets.
  • Direct experience with third-party valuation providers and fund administrators.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting valuation concepts to stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented mindset and proactive project management capabilities.
