Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage valuation processes for structured and private credit assets, ensuring compliance with established methodologies.
- Collaborate with investment professionals to review models and market assumptions for strategic alignment.
- Develop tools for portfolio analytics and automate performance reporting dashboards.
- Conduct stress testing and exposure monitoring to enhance risk management practices.
- Coordinate with accounting teams to reconcile NAVs and performance metrics accurately.
- Prepare materials for Valuation Committee meetings, documenting key judgments and methodologies.
- Support the development and documentation of valuation policies and internal controls.
- Participate in firmwide risk processes and ESG enhancements to support organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA designation preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in asset management, private credit, or valuation advisory.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and process automation.
- Experience with valuation systems such as iHS Markit, Advent Geneva, or IVP.
- Strong financial modeling skills and ability to handle complex data sets.
- Direct experience with third-party valuation providers and fund administrators.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting valuation concepts to stakeholders.
