Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct interviews with residents and guardians to gather essential admission information and obtain required signatures.
- Prepare and manage admission documentation in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Monitor bed availability and maintain accurate records of admissions and discharges.
- Develop effective working relationships with staff to ensure operational harmony and efficiency.
- Assist with secretarial duties and provide support to business office personnel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards in all admission-related activities and processes.
- Maintain admission and discharge registries to ensure data accuracy and accessibility for reporting purposes.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent educational qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions coordination, preferably within healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in managing records and registries in compliance with organizational policies.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective admissions processes.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of compliance programs and ability to address concerns proactively and effectively.
- Commitment to providing age-appropriate care and services to residents.
- Availability to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
