Overview

  • Coordinate admissions processes at a healthcare organization, ensuring seamless onboarding and compliance with established policies and standards.
  • Facilitate communication among departments to maintain accurate admission records and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Support administrative tasks and contribute to the success of the business office operations.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards and provide care tailored to residents’ needs.
  • Maintain registries and documentation to uphold compliance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Collaborate with residents and guardians to ensure a smooth and positive admission experience.
  • Contribute to a mission-driven environment focused on excellence in resident care and services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct interviews with residents and guardians to gather essential admission information and obtain required signatures.
  • Prepare and manage admission documentation in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor bed availability and maintain accurate records of admissions and discharges.
  • Develop effective working relationships with staff to ensure operational harmony and efficiency.
  • Assist with secretarial duties and provide support to business office personnel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards in all admission-related activities and processes.
  • Maintain admission and discharge registries to ensure data accuracy and accessibility for reporting purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions coordination, preferably within healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in managing records and registries in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective admissions processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of compliance programs and ability to address concerns proactively and effectively.
  • Commitment to providing age-appropriate care and services to residents.
  • Availability to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
