Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Track important legal and filing deadlines
- Manage and review records while tracking deadlines and schedules
- Utilize prosecution docket software and related systems.
- Assist with and have extensive knowledge in all phases of prosecution.
- Prioritize multiple deadlines and successfully manage a full workload with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work both independently and in collaboration with other docket clerks, paralegals, and attorneys.
- Comprehend and follow through with instructions, as well as ask well-thought-out questions when clarity is needed.
- Manage and process incoming correspondence and docket-associated deadlines.
- Review docket reports; follow up with attorneys and paralegals and close out completed actions in the docketing software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate.
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel.
