Overview

  • Provide essential administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth operations and effective employee management processes.
  • Assist in onboarding activities, including documentation, orientation coordination, and training facilitation for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Collaborate with team members to address employee inquiries and provide timely resolutions to HR-related issues.
  • Generate reports and summaries to assist in HR decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Participate in special HR projects and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information and data.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Organize and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling orientations and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Assist in recruitment processes by posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support payroll processing by verifying timekeeping records and addressing discrepancies.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and documentation to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies in HR practices and operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs to improve employee engagement.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional HR certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing data and records.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
