Overview
- Lead and manage inpatient obstetrical and neonatal services within a healthcare organization.
- Collaborate with executive leadership for strategic planning and program development.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee fiscal management and operational efficiency of perinatal services.
- Provide leadership for clinical service delivery across inpatient units.
- Contribute to technology and information system selection and implementation.
- Manage units such as Birthing Center, NICU, and Lactation Services.
- Develop and implement successful programs to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct daily operations of obstetrical and neonatal services.
- Partner with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Develop and manage budgets for perinatal services.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Lead strategic planning and program development efforts.
- Provide input on technology and systems to enhance service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor staff across perinatal units.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- State of WI Nursing License mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in perinatal services.
- Strong knowledge of obstetrical and neonatal care practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in program development and implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and physician partnering skills.
