Job Description

Overview

  • Provide medical expertise and support in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Conduct medical reviews and finalize clinical assessments and wellness plans.
  • Assist clients in accessing services and overcoming barriers to compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical and behavioral health diagnoses and treatment protocols.
  • Utilize software systems for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Support organizational goals and contractual obligations through clinical expertise.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and knowledge enhancement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct medical reviews of clinical assessments and reassessments for finalization.
  • Complete wellness plan dispositions for clients in compliance with guidelines.
  • Provide clinical support to staff to achieve contracted goals.
  • Assist clients in accessing services to reduce compliance barriers.
  • Maintain proficiency in software systems for effective documentation and communication.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to implement standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Engage in ongoing education to stay updated on medical practices and technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current unrestricted NYS license.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
  • Two years of professional experience in medical or clinical practice.
  • Knowledge of medical and behavioral health diagnoses and treatment protocols.
  • Proficiency in software systems such as SEAMS, EPIC, PSYCKES, and Bronx RHIO.
  • Familiarity with SSA disability application processes preferred.
  • Experience with NYC HRA processes and requirements preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
