Job Description
Overview
- Manage the punch list process for multifamily construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, property managers, architects, and owners to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Utilize Procore software to set up and manage punch lists effectively, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with property management and owners for unit readiness and final walkthroughs.
- Participate in project progress meetings to address any schedule accelerations or delays.
- Ensure site cleanliness, security, and quality measures are maintained throughout the project.
- Provide final sign-off for units, managing turnover of keys and other items.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Familiarize with project documents, finish selections, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Set up and manage punch tools in Procore, utilizing standard unit readiness checklists.
- Enforce completion of work as dictated by the project schedule to maintain deadlines.
- Communicate unit readiness and schedule updates with stakeholders, including owners and property managers.
- Participate in daily and weekly project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure punch lists are completed and ready for sign-off and acceptance.
- Assist with maintaining site cleanliness, access, and security measures.
- Coordinate final turnover procedures, including keys and miscellaneous items.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, preferably multifamily housing projects.
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel for project management tasks.
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, schedules, and project documents.
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction industry standards and job site safety requirements.
- Dependable transportation to the site and availability for flexible working hours.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
