Overview
- Lead and manage audit and tax engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial and tax solutions.
- Provide strategic guidance and insights to clients to optimize their financial operations and tax strategies.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax provisions.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance audit and tax processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards, and tax regulations.
- Foster strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service to meet their needs.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying new business opportunities and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage multiple audit and tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Supervise and mentor team members, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and tax provisions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with clients to address complex financial and tax challenges effectively.
- Implement automation and digitization tools to streamline audit and tax processes.
- Provide technical expertise in US GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards, and corporate tax regulations.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 740 provisions and corporate tax requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in audit or tax management roles.
- Active CPA or JD/active law license required.
- Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards, and ASC 740 provisions.
- Experience with Onesource Tax Provision (OTP) software preferred.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities effectively.
- Exposure to automation and digitization tools in audits or professional services.
