Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct high-volume collection calls to ensure timely payments and address customer inquiries.
- Generate and dispatch accurate invoices based on contracts and agreements.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently.
- Reconcile and apply customer payments using various methods, ensuring account accuracy.
- Perform month-end reconciliations to balance accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with sales staff to research and address billing issues.
- Manage credit card processing tasks, including handling declines and chargebacks.
- Process credit memos and manage credit holds to maintain account integrity.
- Support departmental projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
- Strong 10-key experience and numerical accuracy are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with credit card processing and reconciliation tasks is advantageous.
