Job Description

Overview

  • Lead business development efforts to expand the client’s K-12 construction portfolio in Illinois.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the K-12 construction industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with organizational goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and assess their feasibility and alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all business development activities.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization through effective leadership and innovation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business development goals in the K-12 construction sector.
  • Build and nurture relationships with educational institutions, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successful business development in the K-12 construction sector.
  • Strong networking skills and established connections within the K-12 construction space.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site work.
