Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in adult patients.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients.
  • Lead and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters.
  • Engage with patients to promote health literacy and preventive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.
  • Supervise advanced practice providers and support staff as required.
  • Stay updated on evidence-based practices and emerging healthcare trends.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics mandatory.
  • Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain one within the required timeframe.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, with 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare documentation systems.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage healthcare teams effectively.
