Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and post journal entries with precision and adherence to deadlines.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate financial statements and detailed supporting schedules for review.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal control policies in all accounting tasks.
  • Provide documentation and responses during audits to facilitate compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with trust accounting or client billing in legal settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with time and billing systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines effectively.
