Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on family law and fiduciary matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediation sessions, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with partners and associates on complex family law cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the Virginia State Bar; DC and MD admissions are advantageous.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in family law practice.
  • Proficiency in handling divorce, child custody, support, and fiduciary matters.
  • Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is highly desirable.
