Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform thorough operational due diligence on investment opportunities and existing portfolios.
- Evaluate external fund managers specializing in private equity, private credit, and real assets.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks associated with investment strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed operational due diligence reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor fund managers on a regular basis to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance due diligence processes and workflows.
- Participate in industry research to stay updated on operational risk management advancements.
- Support the professional development of junior staff through training and mentorship initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field is required.
- Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA, or CFA are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational due diligence or related fields; 6 years preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
- Experience with private equity, private credit, and real assets is highly desirable.
