Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic management of Women's Services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and exceptional patient care standards.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care for women, infants, and pediatric populations.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals, ensuring compliance with clinical, administrative, and ethical standards.
  • Promote evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Cultivate an environment fostering professional growth, staff engagement, and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial compliance and resource optimization.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and leadership to enhance care coordination and patient experience.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and excellence within the Women's Services department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct operations of Women's Services, including labor & delivery, postpartum, nursery, NICU, and pediatric care.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, evaluations, and professional development for departmental staff.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices into protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Manage and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence among staff.
  • Ensure ongoing education, competency, and adherence to patient safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Women's Services department.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership roles, preferably in Women's Services.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and advanced healthcare technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management and budget compliance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with healthcare providers and leadership.
