Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Direct quality improvement programs and evaluate their effectiveness through data-driven insights.
• Conduct root cause analyses and incident reviews to address patient safety concerns.
• Supervise infection control initiatives, including facility design and sterilization practices.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with medical staff to design and implement peer review programs.
• Develop and oversee educational programs to minimize infection risks and enhance safety.
• Manage databases and IT systems for accurate reporting and performance monitoring.
• Promote continuous improvement and uphold high standards of patient care.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in quality, patient safety, or infection prevention.
• Three years of acute clinical care experience required.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred.
• Proficiency in statistical process control and data analytics.
• Strong leadership and management skills to foster team engagement and collaboration.
• Effective communication skills to interact across diverse organizational levels.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve strategic goals effectively.
