Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct quality improvement programs and evaluate their effectiveness through data-driven insights.
- Conduct root cause analyses and incident reviews to address patient safety concerns.
- Supervise infection control initiatives, including facility design and sterilization practices.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with medical staff to design and implement peer review programs.
- Develop and oversee educational programs to minimize infection risks and enhance safety.
- Manage databases and IT systems for accurate reporting and performance monitoring.
- Promote continuous improvement and uphold high standards of patient care.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience in quality, patient safety, or infection prevention.
- Three years of acute clinical care experience required.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical process control and data analytics.
- Strong leadership and management skills to foster team engagement and collaboration.
- Effective communication skills to interact across diverse organizational levels.
