Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily operations of surgical services, ensuring safe and efficient patient care delivery.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including human, fiscal, and material resources, to optimize department performance.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and healthcare standards, including Title 22 compliance.
  • Lead interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to maintain clinical proficiency and professional growth.
  • Analyze operational challenges and implement solutions to enhance department effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within surgical services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Current California RN License and BLS provider card mandatory.
  • National certification in clinical area of expertise preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical leadership experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and supervisory practices within healthcare settings.
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal communication abilities.
