Overview

  • Lead the nursing department at a healthcare organization, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and mission.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize nursing practices and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Promote evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop skilled nursing professionals to meet patient care needs.
  • Monitor nursing department metrics to identify improvement areas and implement interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Represent the nursing department in organizational committees and community activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the nursing department.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows and resource allocation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
