Job Description

Overview

  • Support regulatory compliance and licensing functions, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist with regulatory filings, license applications, renewals, and corporate amendments for legal entities.
  • Coordinate transactions, contracts, and notifications with regulatory bodies and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on statutes and regulations, providing analysis and actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate records of submissions, payments, and renewals using tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external entities to address inquiries and data requests.
  • Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including domestic and international locations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and fee payments to appropriate authorities.
  • Administer biographical affidavits and related documentation for company officers and directors.
  • Conduct research and surveys on legal and compliance topics, analyzing results effectively.
  • Manage inquiries and requests related to filings, assessments, and data calls.
  • Maintain organized records of licenses and registrations in physical and digital formats.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and legal firms to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
  • Support contract filings and tracking for state approvals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform special assignments related to regulatory compliance as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Arts or Legal Studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory or licensing within the legal industry.
  • Proficiency in conducting online legal and compliance-related research.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for professional correspondence.
