Project Manager – Light Industrial Construction

Overview

• Lead and manage construction projects within the light industrial sector, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, budgets, and schedules, maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress, addressing challenges proactively to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting project milestones and performance metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and minimizing financial risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication to achieve project goals.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Implement risk management strategies, identifying and mitigating potential project challenges.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, providing updates and resolving concerns to maintain alignment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, promoting a secure working environment for all personnel.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the industrial or commercial construction sector.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams effectively.
• Ability to travel within the Southeastern United States as required by project needs.
• Preferred 7 years of experience in project management roles, showcasing advanced expertise.
• Familiarity with ESOP, 401(k), and other employee benefit programs is advantageous.
