Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Finance Manager and General Ledger Team in financial operations.
  • Perform reconciliations, expense analysis, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assist with month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial data.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Analyze expenses and provide insights for cost optimization.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate entries.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager on budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger and reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days in office.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
