Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
  • Lead daily site meetings and collaborate with project management to achieve milestones.
  • Review plans and specifications to anticipate and resolve potential field issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety standards, fostering a safe work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, promoting collaboration and trust.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent for a general contractor; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing commercial projects, including office, light industrial, and public works.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety management practices.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred; commitment to safety compliance essential.
  • Ability to work on-site and lead field operations effectively.
