Overview
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver architectural projects of varying complexity.
- Develop comprehensive construction documents and ensure adherence to building codes and guidelines.
- Utilize Revit, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite for project documentation and design.
- Engage in creative problem-solving to address design challenges effectively.
- Participate in project site documentation and contract administration tasks.
- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and interior/exterior detailing.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with project managers and other team members.
- Support training and development initiatives within the architectural team.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead design and coordination efforts across architectural and interior detailing projects.
- Prepare concept sketches, plans, elevations, schedules, and detailed design documents.
- Analyze building codes and guidelines to ensure compliance in project execution.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to align systems and project documents.
- Document and participate in project meetings, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
- Conduct physical walkthroughs and site documentation during design phases.
- Manage construction site meetings and prepare punch lists for contract administration.
- Direct and mentor designers and interns to foster professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited program required.
- Architecture license required for Project Architect; not required for Project Designer.
- Proficiency with Revit, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong design orientation and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience in producing construction documents and understanding interior/exterior detailing.
- Knowledge of building codes and client facility standards.
- Creative problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
