Job Description

Overview

  • Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate with technicians and campaign managers to address process and equipment challenges.
  • Assist in communication of batch status with chemists and analytical teams.
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss operational updates and provide input.
  • Complete required training programs promptly and maintain proficiency in equipment operation.
  • Ensure accurate batch record entries and calculations during production campaigns.
  • Adhere to PPE guidelines and report all incidents to management immediately.
  • Conduct operations with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Follow established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing protocols during operations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production campaigns.
  • Attend PSOR meetings and contribute valuable insights to improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Support campaign managers in achieving production goals and addressing challenges.
  • Ensure proper handling and operation of manufacturing systems and methods.
  • Participate in group activities to foster teamwork and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required for this entry-level position.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures is essential.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills for equipment and process-related issues are required.
  • Proficiency in batch record entries and calculations is preferred.
